Letter V, Dzija Vertov: The Man With a Movie Camera

More languages to tell life’s stories:

I’ve watched ” where is my Rome? “a film by Abbas Kiarostami , the Iranian director and I liked his approach to making of the film.
The film is a short reality documentary, where he turned the
camera to the audience and filmed their emotions while they were watching the old Romeo and Juliet film.
It is interesting to know that the audience he filmed are famous Iranian actresses:

Also, I compared Jonas Mekas experimental poetic approach with The man with movie camera. I believe they have similarities in narrating the momentum reality and life events, filming subjective and without a plot.
